WWL Identity

Vision Statement

Inspired hope, dignity and expanded possibilities.

Mission Statement

The model Centre for children and young people’s empowerment through quality education, technical and vocational training, lifelong skills and values for expanded possibilities

Values

WWL was founded on the desire to have KACHUO (a small informal school) for the street children. It is therefore overbearing that this forms our Core Values and unites our purpose.

  • Knowledge driven: We embed knowledge into our norms and practices.
  • Accountable: We are answerable for our actions, behaviors and performance.
  • Compassionate: We suspend judgment so that we can appreciate others’ perspectives
  • Hope: We inspire trust in the willpower and commitment to surmount obstacles
  • Unwavering: We shall remain together and true to our vocation regardless of drifts
  • Outgoing: We are forward looking for posterity.

 Our Philosophy

WWL appreciates that all human beings are entitled to dignified life. We further believe that young people can lead fulfilling life from exclusion and indignity if effectively facilitated through sustainable empowerment. We therefore invest in empowering young people, strengthening facilitative process and influencing policy and practice as assured ways of accelerating and sustaining human and ecological wellbeing.
