Teenage and Young Mothers Program.
Unplanned pregnancy among teenage and young girls is very rampant in slum dwellings. Many young girls are forced to drop out of school as a result of this pregnancies.
The WWL project has a special focus on the Teenage and young mothers and encourages them to attend classes and learn different skills at the vocational centre while the nanny takes care of them under the under-five program.
The young girls undergo counselling and training on how to embrace motherhood and take good care of their children. They are trained on proper nutrition and good hygiene.
